mixed feelings about this stay
comfy bedmissing handlefalling ceiling panel
the bed felt comfy and the staff helped me with all requests.
The room was not good. the window had been opened too wide, and it didn't have a handle. someone used a coat hanger to close the window. When the curtain was closed, the rail moved and hit a ceiling panel. the panel fell down, and someone tried to fix it, but they said the part didn't fit.

no hot waterinadequate heating
There was no hot water (, made showering impossible) and the toilet area felt cramped. Drinking water tasted off, and there seemed to be two hot taps in the sink near the bed. The heating was inadequate, so the room was quite cold, and the TV only picked up BBC1 and BBC2. I didn't sleep well at all.

the room was spacious. tea and coffee facilities were available. refills were also available by the bar area.
the room was awful. the window had been opened too wide and did not have a handle so the person working had to use a coat hanger to close the window. the curtain was then closed at this point the rail moved down and the top hit a ceiling panel which then fell down.

Wonderful Stay Thanks to the Attentive Hosts

The hosts were very cute. They even showed us to our room. The hotel staff works so hard. The location is excellent, very close to the south pier. The new managers have brightened up the rooms. They were clean. The bar was open every night. I am grateful.
The room only had one double plug socket. It made it very hard to charge things. One window would open. The room was hot and stuffy, an inconvenience.

The hotel's location provided easy access to nearby attractions. South Pier was a short walk. This made exploring the area very convenient. Several shops and restaurants were easily accessible.

The staff allowed us to keep our luggage safe until we left, which i appreciate. There is a pool table in the lounge, great for those who like to stay active. The location is near the beach and Sandcastle Waterpark (a big plus!).
The wallpaper had some slight bubbling.
